Budget transparency of towns, villages and districts in Moldova

The main goal is to provide the public with relevant data on the budget of each municipality since 2012. The portal enables the users to view the profiles of individual towns, villages and districts, as well as all towns and villages within a district, compare the results and create customized charts of shortlisted towns and villages according to the selected indicators. We believe that increasing awareness of these figures will improve the financial management of individual towns, as the mayors will be driven to do so.

Financial health of cities and municipalities

The main purpose of the project is to provide relevant information to the general public regarding the management of every municipality, town, and higher territorial unit since 2006. We believe that increasing awareness will contribute to better management of individual municipalities, because mayors will be forced to manage more effectively due to public scrutiny. Thanks to a time series, a visitor can also compare the efforts of individual mayors in improvement of the management.

Evaluation of elementary and high schools

We offer information on primary and secondary schools, which exist on the national level, and inform about the archived results of students and the conditions for education. If people have information of higher quality, they can use it to make better decisions. We are of the opinion that the project will help both parents and future students, as well as the schools themselves, because they will be able to compare and motivate themselves to achieve better results.
